A Day at WCA

We begin each day at WCA with the Pledge of Allegiance, the Pledge to the Christian Flag, and the Pledge to the Bible. Then, we recite our monthly Scripture verse, sing a Christian song,

and read a Biblical devotion. Finally,  we announce Congratulation Slips for tests taken, as well as any other awards that were earned!

In our Learning Centers, each student has their own office to work on their individual PACEs (Packet of Accelerated Christian Education). There is also a scoring table and score keys for them to check their work, providing immediate feedback and an opportunity to make corrections. There is also a testing table where students can be supported as they take their PACE tests.

Every Wednesday at 8:45 a.m., the students have chapel in the Sanctuary.  Students are given a developmentally-appropriate Bible-based message.  There is also a chance for students to ask questions on that day's topic.

Students enjoy two 20-minute breaks in addition to the twenty minutes of recess they receive after lunch.

Every week the students are given the opportunity to earn E-Privilege which also earns them a Friday Funday. Some examples of Friday Funday activities are movies, crafts, and games.

Once a week, every Learning Center has an hour of gym with Pastor Slater or Mr. Kevin.  Students work on their hand-eye coordination, team spirit, and learning different sports.
